Quanitta D. Favorite-Battle (affectionately known as “Min. Q.”) was born in Alexandria, La to Reverend Dr. Leonard L. Favorite, Sr. and Sister Sheila M. Favorite.
Min. Q. accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the tender age of seven and was baptized by her father in October of 1986 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Valdosta, Georgia.
She accepted her “call” to ministry in October 2003, and in January 2004, enrolled in the School for Prophets at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Washington, DC under the leadership of Pastor Emeritus, Reverend Dr. H. Beecher Hicks, Jr. Upon completion of the school for prophets, Min. Q. preached her initial sermon and was licensed to preach the Gospel on November 9, 2004.
Min. Q is the Founder and President of Favor in Battle Ministries, Inc. Established in August of 2015, Favor in Battle Ministries seeks to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His unconditional love through education, proclamation, community service, and the performing arts in an effort to win souls for Christ and bring healing and wholeness to hurting people.
Min. Q. is also an Associate Minister at Ekklesia International in Brentwood, MD, where Reverend Dr. Stephanie Jennings-Stratford is the Senior Pastor.
Prior to her assignment at Ekklesia International, Min. Q. served on the ministerial team at Community Baptist Church, East Friendship Baptist Church, and Lion of Judah Miracle Temple.
In addition to her responsibilities at Favor in Battle Ministries and Ekklesia International, Min Q. is also the co-founder of The Preaching Women’s Empowerment Group, a community of women preachers dedicated to edifying, encouraging, equipping, and empowering one another in the Lord.
Min. Q brings fire, passion and conviction to each assignment based on her knowledge of God’s Word and her personal experience/testimony. One of her favorite scriptures is John 15:16, which says, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give to you.”
Min. Q. is the mother of three amazing children: Kenneth II (9); Jairus (8); and Kathryn (4).
